About the WV Board of Treasury Investments

The West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments is charged with managing the individual investment pools and accounts of the Consolidated Fund under authority of WV State Code §12 6C, West Virginia Treasury Investments Act. The Consolidated Fund provides for the investment of the state’s short term operating funds as well as providing the opportunity for local governments to participate in large investment pools. The BTI is governed by a five-member board and manages the investments for more than 1,700 state agency and local government accounts. All West Virginia political subdivisions including towns, cities, counties, boards of education and volunteer fire departments are eligible to invest with the BTI. We encourage you to explore the website, review our conservative investment policy and competitive yields. Our goal is to provide exemplary investment services for you and your community.
