Who Can Invest?
Any political subdivision can invest in the fund. A political subdivision is defined as: a county, municipality or any agency, authority, board, county board of education, commission or instrumentality of a county or municipality or a regional council created pursuant to the provisions of state code.
    


What are the benefits?
The money market pools allows daily contributions and withdrawals.

Any contributions made by 9:00 AM receive income for that day.

The pools offer investment diversification.

The pools work with your existing bank accounts.

All fees are taken prior to income distribution. There are no hidden fees, penalties or account maintenance costs. Local governments may have an unlimited number of accounts.

Professional management is provided by the West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments' staff and professional investment advisors.

Easy access is provided through the State Treasurer’s Office Online Investment System.
